STEP TOGETHER
Join us for a morning (or evening) of movement and meaningful connection! "Step Together" is designed to bring individuals, families, and friends together in a relaxed, supportive environment. This is an opportunity to build community through structured interaction. Whether you’re looking to meet others on a similar journey or simply want to enjoy a peaceful stroll, this event focuses on socialization and connection every step of the way.
**Please note: This is not a drop-off event and all Individuals are required to be accompanied by a caregiver.**

Low-Pressure Socializing: Engage in open-ended conversation with fellow community members while exploring a scenic walking path.

Structured Conversation Opportunities: For those interested, we will provide prompts to help facilitate conversations and help you to get to know others.

Supportive Environment: We offer a space that celebrates neurodiversity and provides opportunities for individuals of all abilities to interact comfortably.

Networking & Resources: Connect with other families and Individuals and learn more about Autism Society Greater Pittsburgh’s mission to support the autism community.

Adaptive activities: The walking path route can be adapted for your needs.

You Do You: Not interested in the walk? No problem! Come and participate in some activities or simply socialize with others.

Light Refreshments: We will provide light refreshments. Feel free to bring whatever makes you comfortable.
Where: South Park, Allegheny County – Ethelbert Pavillion (off of Corrigan Road). We will start our walk at the pavilion and will finish at the pavilion with refreshments (there are restrooms and a playground nearby).
When: June 24, 2026 - 10:00am and 7:00pm (to accommodate schedules, we are offering two different times – you may attend either or both!).
Who: Individuals on the Autism Spectrum of all ages and abilities and their friends, families, and caregivers.
